Carlo Scarpa was able to create a perfect unity between architectonic body and design set up specifications, so that one gets the impression that details self-produce buildings.

I examined those details which I think better than others show a peculiarity of Carlo Scarpa’s work: the use of a constructive cracked line that continues to break itself and bend over on itself. It seems to indicate part of that dark imaginative universe, inherited also from the Byzantine-Venetian tradition, which inspired Carlo Scarpa in his designs.
